2008 Hooding & Commencement

To Advanced Degree Recipients:

First, and foremost, congratulations on successfully completing your graduate studies at Princeton. I know that you have worked hard to earn this degree, whether one year (or more) for a professional master’s degree or a good deal longer for a Ph.D. and you, together with your family and friends, should be justly proud of your accomplishments. 

This website contains information on celebrating this milestone. Along with the official Hooding and Commencement ceremonies, you and your guests are encouraged to attend the Reunions festivities and the Dean’s Brunch.

I urge you to register online for the various events and to check back periodically for updated information. In addition, members of the Graduate School staff are always available to answer your questions or concerns; please don’t hesitate to contact us.

DVD and VHS recordings of the Hooding and Commen-cement ceremonies can be obtained by sending a personal check to 100 Clio Hall, Princeton NJ 08544, payable to the “Graduate School.” Include a note specifying the ceremony and recording format being ordered, and the full shipping address. The cost is $28 per DVD and $41 per VHS, and each ceremony is a separate recording. Questions may be directed to Sandra Sussman.
