Last opportunity for applicants taking the paper GRE (Graduate Record Examination) or paper TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Scores arriving too late will hinder the ability of the academic department to complete a comprehensive review of your application. You must indicate that score reports be sent to Princeton University’s Office of Graduate Admission (institution code 2672, no department code is required). GRE test scores are valid for five years and TOEFL test scores are valid for two years.
December 1
Application deadline for applicants outside North America. Deadline applies to all applicants who reside outside North America for the receipt of application and all supporting material. Earlier applications are encouraged.

February 15
Deadline for receipt of visiting student application and supporting materials. Earlier applications are encouraged and you must submit a paper application.
March 15
Admission decisions are e-mailed to all applicants no later than March 15. Decisions will not be released by telephone or fax. Admitted applicants will receive their admit packet in the mail. Please allow 10 to 14 business days for receipt of the packet.
April 15
Deadline to accept/decline offer of admission. If your original admission reply form is not received by April 15, the Graduate School has discretion to rescind the offer of admission and financial aid. Princeton is a member of the Council of Graduate Schools and subscribes to its agreement regarding this reply date.
May 1
Deadline for receipt of applications and all supporting materials for the following:- Governmental- or industrial-sponsored applicants for M.Eng. degree.
- Princeton undergraduates applying for the M.Eng. degree. (Princeton Option)
Earlier applications are encouraged and you must submit a paper application.
May 15
All architecture portfolios, musical scores, and recordings will be discarded unless return is requested prior to this date.
